Robert Donat, star of stage and screen throughout the 1930’s to 50’s. Best known for starring in films such as ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’, ‘The Winslow Boy’, Hitchcocks ‘The 39 Steps’, ‘Goodbye Mr Chips’ for which he was awarded the Oscar for best actor, and his final film with Ingrid Bergman ‘The Inn of the Sixth Happiness’.
