An impressive pair of Doulton Burslem large globular shaped vases by George White. Hand painted with gilded rims, one entitled 'Spring' depicting a Grecian-style gathering of men, women, and children in the countryside, verso depicting a courting couple. The second vase depicting a group of musicians at a celebration, verso depicting a woman putting a garland on a child's head. Both with Doulton Burslem backstamps marked Luscian ware.
