Note: likely designed as part of a suite for William Morris' house Red House and later retailed through Morris Marshall and Faulkner, the bowl shape and proportions are similar to those illustrated in designs in the Victoria and Albert Museum, while the colour and texture of the glass is typical of that produced by Powell in the 1860s
