The January Cotswold Interiors & Collectables sale drew bidders from bibliophiles worldwide, providing an opportunity to purchase a wide selection of rare and fascinating first editions and museum-quality collectables.
Auctioneer and Department Head Tarragon Kelham commented: ‘We’re delighted to have achieved record prices for some exceptional, rarely seen books and paper ephemera’.

Lot 491, hammered at £1,400, well above the estimated guide price. A fascinating naturalist tome, detailing the medicinal properties and uses of various animals found in Ireland, listing their names in English, Irish and Latin, including a short treatise on the diagnostic and prognostic parts of medicine.
